Only an afterthought... I started this one with cutting up an image of a painting by one of my favorite artists, El Greco (perhaps he's a favorite because his style is much like a fashion ilustrator's with elongated figures), but placed two of the characters differently than they were in the painting. I liked how they were looking up at something - but what? I've been in this mode of thinking about designing a costume for a Victorian-era burlesque dancer/circus performer. And so came out these hanging ballerina/suicide girls who's costume definitely has a burlesque/circus flair.
